The Medical Assistant program is designed to expose the student to both the administrative and clinical aspects of a healthcare environment. Emphasis is placed on medical theory and terminology, focuses on the programs practices and procedures associated with the operation of a healthcare facility. Students also participate in clinical laboratory classes where they can apply the knowledge and training previously studied.
