Computer Programming & Database Management

Southwest Florida College’s Computer Programming & Database Management degree program is designed to provide students with the practical skills and knowledge necessary for a career in the Information Technology field. Available at both our Fort Myers and Tampa campus, this program develops a practical knowledge of personal computer hardware and operating systems, network maintenance, along with database administration, programming fundamentals.

You will learn how to program using a modern language. In addition, you will learn how to create, program, populate and manage a database. This program offers students multiple disciplines.  Upon successful completion of the Computer Programming and Database Development program, graduates can pursue entry-level careers as technical professionals, software developers, application developers, in-house programmers, freelance and more.
