- Yes. Southwest Florida College has a career services office that assists our students and graduates in finding careers in their field. From resume tips to mock interviews, we help prepare our students for the interview process. | How long does it take to get my degree? |
- Our degrees are program specific. It can take our students as little as 18 months to complete our degree programs, and 12 months to complete our diploma programs.

| What if I need tutoring or help with classes? |
- Southwest Florida College provides access to an Academic Success Center for all of our students. Our Academic Success Center provides FREE tutoring to all those that need it. From writing papers to studying for exams, the ASC is here to help our students
achieve personal success in their college career.

| What if I want to transfer credits from another school? |
- All transcripts are reviewed by our Registrar's department to determine which credits are transferable to Southwest Florida College. The college participates in the Statewide Common Course Numbering System, please visit the Florida Department of Education's site.

| Where can I purchase my text books? |
- Books may be purchased from the Southwest Florida College bookstore. You may purchase your books from any source you wish. A good place to begin searching for the books you need is www.everybookstore.com. This is a search engine that sorts books by title, author, ISBN or topic.

| How long are your class terms? |
- Full length quarter terms are 11 weeks. Mini terms are 5 weeks.
