Early Childhood Education - Bachelor's
Graduates of the bachelor's degree in the Early Childhood Education (PreK-3rd grades) with ESOL
Endorsement, that have met all admissions, program course and state exam requirements, receive a
transcript indicating the completion of a Florida Department of Education (DOE) state-approved program.
The Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is designed to prepare students to teach in Preschool K through Grade 3 and includes coursework and field experiences in early childhood settings including one full term of student teaching. Graduates of this program will be able to sit for certification Preschool K through Grade 3, and will have completed course work necessary for ESOL endorsement.
Southwest Florida College is listening to employers! We have an advisory board for each one of our programs that is comprised of representatives from local leading businesses.
