Computer Aided Drafting & Design Program
Certified by the American Design
Drafting Association.
This program prepares students with entry-toindustry
level employment skills required of those
seeking careers as "Drafters/CADD Technicians." Students will be exposed to a wide range of
software applications currently used in the
industry. These include Autodesk 2011 products,
AutoCAD 2011, AutoCAD Architecture, Revit, 3D
Civil, Inventor and 3D Max Design.
The program familiarizes students with the
standards governing the ever-evolving business
of modern technical drafting. With a curriculum
that encompasses a broad spectrum of disciplines,
students will focus on areas of architectural
drafting, civil, structural, electrical/electronic and
mechanical drafting.
After successful completion of the program,
graduates may expect to enter local industry as "CADD Tech's/Drafters" in the architectural,
civil, interior design, home building and design, or related engineering/manufacturing fields.
