Computer Aided Drafting & Design Program

After successfully completing the program, you will be able to develop technical drawings with both a computer aided drafting software workstation and traditional drafting tools. We will focus you on the area of architectural drafting; however, you will be introduced to other disciplines, such as civil, structural, electrical/electronic and mechanical drafting.

Upon successful completion of our program, you will be qualified to pursue entry-level positions in drafting, product design, cartography, estimating, sales and quality control. Southwest Florida College features an Associate of Science degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design that can be completed within two years of study.
