Southwest Florida College's Management and Marketing program is designed to educate you in the many facets of owning, operating and marketing a business enterprise.
Our program introduces you to all of the issues involved in running a business with emphasis on human resource management, leadership, business ethics, marketing and accounting.
Our curriculum can prepare you for a lifetime of great business prospects. We give you the basic courses no business graduate should be without, such as Business Law and Foundations of Leadership.
You also will expand your experience by studying specialized topics such as Human Resource Management and Accounting. Be a decision maker on your job.
Southwest Florida College features an Associate of Science Degree in Management and Marketing that can be completed within a year and a half. When you complete our program, you can pursue positions in marketing departments, advertising agencies, marketing firms, human resources, sales and business office management.

BACHELOR'S OVERVIEW
The Bachelor of Science in Management degree program is designed for individuals who seek to expand their knowledge and marketability by earning a bachelor’s degree.
Our Bachelor's in Management is built upon a foundation of business coursework such as principles of management, human resource management, international business, marketing, leadership and team development, finance, and entrepreneurship.
Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible for a
wide variety of managerial positions in the business world.

"The mission of the SWFC Future Business Leaders is to strengthen the business skills of all students through networking, mentoring, advocacy, and fellowship between students, teachers, and business professionals."
Who are we?
We are students at SWFC. This club is open to any student no matter your degree or area of concentration. Many of us are Business Management & Marketing or Accounting students, but we also have several members from the IT and Multi-Cultural club.
Students range from business to graphic arts to allied health and everyone is welcome.
Club Objectives:

To promote fellowship amongst students and faculty members
To provide mentoring services to new students

The business club has promoted fellowship through volunteering activities throughout Lee County. It's a great opportunity to meet up with a large group of like minded individuals.
It's a great addition to your resume.
You will enjoy an element of campus life ususally only experienced at a four year college.
You will learn various leadership skills through seminars and guest speaker sessions.
Projects:
The business club has been involved with many of the school functions and has been active in volunteering in the community We have held many successful food fundraisers to raise money for the club and to help feed our hungry students and faculty.
Funds raised have gone to help Allied Health send a Wii game system to the Red Platoon, Alpha Battery of the I-77th Field Artillery and two fellow students going through difficult emotional and financial times.
Participation in all the faculty/student basketball games.
Partipation in the first club softball game.
Participation in the club fair recruitments.
Participation in the 2008 SWFC Relay for Life Team
Participation in sending shipments to the Red Platoon soldiers and e-mailing them.
Club students act as "ambassadors" at new student orientation.
Volunteered to support fellow business students in their Dress for Success Program.
Volunteered to support students in the Landscape Lakes Park Project.
