MASSAGE THERAPY - Diploma Program
The Massage Therapy program will prepare students for an entry-level position as a Massage Therapist. Students will develop the skills necessary to meet the needs of the health care community and be prepared to assume positions in the healthcare or resort/spa setting. The program provides instruction in therapeutic massage with knowledge of the structure and function of the human body. Students will receive training in massage theory, hydrotherapy, anatomy and physiology, the prevention of medical errors, HIV, and allied modalities.
MASSAGE THERAPY – Associates in Science Degree
The Associate in Science in Massage Therapy degree program will prepare students for an entry level position as a Massage Therapist and/or Massage Facility Management. Students will develop the skills necessary to meet the needs of the health care community and be prepared to assume positions in the healthcare or resort/spa setting. Additionally, the program is intended to prepare students to manage, or own and operate a massage facility.
